For homeowners
If you received a notice from us, it’s real.
OnSite Compliance Services is a private notification service. We review public county records and write to owners of aerobic septic systems whose maintenance contract has lapsed.
We are not the county. We are not a government agency. Below is exactly who we are, where our information came from, what it costs you, and how to make it stop.
What the notice means
County records show no active maintenance contract on file for the aerobic septic system at your property.
Texas rules require aerobic treatment systems to be maintained — either under contract with a TCEQ-licensed maintenance provider, or, in counties that allow it, by a homeowner who has met that county’s requirements. In Florida, systems must hold a current operating permit and a maintenance agreement with an approved maintenance entity.
When a contract lapses, two things follow. Counties may issue violation notices and fines. And a lapsed contract can delay a sale or refinance later, because many closings require proof of compliance.

We are not the county
OnSite Compliance Services LLC is a private company. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any county, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, the Florida Department of Health, or any other government agency.
Our notice is not a citation. It is not an enforcement action, and it carries no penalty of its own. Nothing happens to you because we wrote to you.
The maintenance requirement it describes, however, is real, and it comes from state rules — not from us.
Where our information comes from
Public records. We request county on-site sewage facility records under the Texas Public Information Act and Florida’s public records law. Counties send them to us the same way they would send them to you.
Requested under
Tex. Gov’t Code Ch. 552 Fla. Stat. Ch. 119
What they contain
Permit number, system type and brand, the maintenance company of record, and the contract expiration date on file.
What they don’t
Nothing about your finances, your household, or anything inside your home. We know what the county knows about your septic system, and nothing else.
County records lag. If you renewed recently, or you maintain your own system under an arrangement your county allows, the records may not show it yet. In that case the notice doesn’t apply to you and no action is needed.
What it costs you
Nothing. Not for the notice, not for the call, not for the connection.
We are paid by the licensed maintenance providers we connect callers with. That is our entire business model, and we would rather tell you plainly than have you wonder what the catch is.
Whatever the provider charges you for actual service work is between you and them. We don’t take a cut of it, and we don’t see it.
To restore compliance
Call the number printed on your noticeEvery notice we mail carries a dedicated phone number for your county. One call connects you with the TCEQ-licensed maintenance provider serving your area. In most cases a single service visit brings the system current and puts a new contract on file.
Already renewed?
No action needed. County records may simply not reflect it yet. If you’d like to stop receiving notices, tell us and we’ll remove your address.
Report an error or ask to be removed
We honor every removal request, permanently, no questions asked.
